The stock headlights on this truck are far too dim. Looking for recommendations on good replacement halogen bulbs, possibly HIDs if install isnt too difficult. Thoughts?

I added two eight-lamp leds behind the grill of my '14 sle (high beam only).

How did u end up doing the silverado lights? Bake or cut?

I have the same truck. Did you try adjusting the headlights up a little? I gave mine 1-1/4 turn counterclockwise. It helped a lot.

Your issue low or high beams?

There's a thread about this issue with many hundreds of pages. If your still under warranty, complain to your dealer. There's a service bulletin about this. They turn up the headlight voltage in the BCM and replaced the bulbs. It improves things a lot. I had it done on my truck. The headlights went from "completely suck" to "acceptable."

Good to know. I think I will complain to them. I like the look of the HIDs "Bright White", which I think are about 6000k. Anyone have HIDs?
