Positive fox 2.0 info

I feel like i have to write this thread. Previous to buying a set of these coil overs i have done a lot of searching on here and only read maybe one positive thread.

I pulled the trigger and couldn't be happier. Here are some specs i wish i found before i bought them.

With STEEL SUSPENSION

19 threads showing from locking collar to bottom of threads on the shock body

2.2 inches raised to level the truck.

leaves me with about a 1/4 inch rake now.

Truck is a 5.3 4x4 double cab.

Im really impressed with the ride. First off it goes around corners better, with less body roll. low speed cracks in the road it feels close to stock but anything over 15mph is greatly improved. The transition from compression to rebound is just much smoother. With my 2 inch level my dash would make all kinds of cracking noises hitting a bump and i would be clenching my jaw over sight of rough patches. you still feel bumps but its just not nearly as harsh or violent. Im pumped on them, i hope i can help some people with this thread who hate those ranchos like i did.

Definitely jealous!! Those are on my list for summer.

Did you do the install yourself? 33" tires coming next?

Surprised your wheels haven't been stolen with no wheel locks...

Did you have to cut anything to install them or was it a straight replacement?

Good info. I'm torn on what setup I'd like to go for. I had a Raptor and want as close to that ride as possible. I've heard the Fox 2.0's are very smooth on road and not too stiff. I'm torn between the 2.0's and 2.5's.

Are you planning to replace the UCAs?
