Help with reinstalling leveling kit

I have my 2017 Silverado 1500 and am installing a 2.5" upper strut spacer by motofab. I bolted on the spacer and am in the middle of reassembling it. Once the spacer is on the strut assembly must be turned 180° to line up. The problem I have is that once I do the the angle to bolt my lower strut assembly to lower control arm is too steep. Can I just do the passenger side and then swap the strut assemblies so that they line up?

I put these on all the time. I always just compress the spring and spin the strut once I have it off the car. It should line right up.
