Service stabilitrak after 4wd use

So last week i took a trip to the beach to test out the 4wd. I engaged 4hi and truck worked well then 4lo and again great results. Drove out and before hitting the pavement i switched back to 2hi. Got a service stabilitrak message, the off road display still showed all 4 tires in green as if 4wd was active but the left knob was light up on 2hi and i could feel truck was clearly in 2wd. Also the dash had a solid light for stabilitrak. Read the manual and it just said their was an issue to be serviced. Continued to drive the truck after re-checking i was in 2wd. After about 3 miles of driving i came to a red light. Light turned green and I did a left turn, the angles of ground on the center display began to show and now it showed only my rear tires on the off road display plus the stabilitrak went off. No problems ever since but basically my question is if these is normal? Perhaps the leveling kit inhibited my truck somehow to detect right away that I was now on 2wd and it took some steering to help it detect?

Truck is 2017 silverado z71

I've had that happen to mine in the deep snow and it simply turned off after driving for a short distance

It's not "normal" but there's some common reason that causes a fault which resolves itself. I don't have the explanation

Oh i see. Well i guess i'll see the next time i have to use 4wd if the issue replicates. I dont use it to often given that we dont get snow down at south texas.
