Which Transfer Case?

I'm converting my 85 chev 2wd to 4wd, I was just wondering what your guys opinions were on transfer cases. Should i run a NP205 or a NP208, alot of guys around here say the 20 if the better of the 2 because it is gear driven. What do you guys think?

I think it depends what your plans for the truck are. The 205 is bullet proof but only has 2:1 low range. The 208 I beleive has a 2.73:1 low range ratio but has a chain and aluminum case. You could probably buy at least 2 208s for the price of a 205.
