Picked up this Dickies seat protector at Dirt cheap for $2. Will hold me out until I can afford the Deluth trading co. Deluxe one.

My daughter was only allowing goofy faces this day. I think she pulled it off really well.

I made a tool box liner out of some left over pad from our floating floor.

I relocated my antenna and I absolutely recommend it.

I got the idea from this post.

Radio antenna

Below: You can do this with pretty much any late model and classic GM truck. On some, the Tahoe/Yukon has a cover with no hole so no grommet required.

First fill up. Was surprised it only cost me $38. Paid $1.70 for gas.

I need to do that antenna delete.

Also, where is gas $1.70? E85 is 1.79 here, regular is 2.29, and premium is around 2.75.

So I have been searching about throttle response. The truck felt sluggish to me. It just didn't respond the way I felt it should.

Man did I save some money here. I was told about this thread and it made a world of difference in my truck. Free mod and I couldn't be happier.

I also block the flapper valve open and the only real difference to me is that a cold start up it sounds deeper but once warm it sounds the same. I have yet to hear the so called chipper sound or drone. I'm thinking of having the muffler deleted and go from there.

You won't really hear anything with the flapper clamped open with the huge stock muffler. The drone is mostly for the guys who change out to a smaller, louder muffler. You might get some drone. I have the Borla GMPP Sport muffler and you can just barely hear it when its in V4 under a load. I think it's perfect. Glad to see you are enjoying your truck!!

So I can hear it a bit at about 55-60 MPH and I can see how it would be annoying without resonator and such. I'll leave it for now and see how it breaks in so to speak. Only 4,000 miles on the truck right now.

I don't have my resonator and it's barely noticeable. Probably because my Borla muffler is larger and not as loud.
