I'm looking into supercharging my 2014 5.3 Silverado and was wondering if anyone has one on their truck in cold climate. It is my daily driver and I just want to be sure I won't have any problems I'm the winter when the temp is in the single digits.

it will run damn good in the cold weather that's for sure! I have never heard of anyone having issues with a blower in colder climates not sure it makes a bit of differance.

I remember driving a Ford Lightning up north when it was around 13 degrees. The thing ran dam good at that time. Boosted engines love the cold weather.

Only problem with aftermarket boost in cold weather is the ability to increase temperature so quickly and have the piston expand in the cold block. Which is a problem if you're living in North dakota and have a 2 mile commute to work and can't resist a little boost on the way. Don't ask me how I know.

Nothing gets you ready to sieze the day like a serving of forced induction in the morning.
