$10.00

No that's the cap.

This is the reflector inside the headlight assembly. I was hoping it didn't need an entire replacement. I'm starting to see that I'm gonna need new headlights -_-

Man that is tough. If the truck is under warranty and the headlight bulbs OEM then try the dealer. You have nothing to loose.

Just an update:

Tried to let it ride for a while but the lamp wasn't holding well. Rotated inside again and burnt through completely. I removed the bulb and ordered a new set of the headlight assemblies. Couldn't talk myself into spending $500+ for a pair so I went with aftermarket OEM style ones off Ebay for $150. Have read mixed reviews about them. Some people have zero issues while others have many. Figured I'd take the gamble for $150.

Also placed an order for a set of LED bulbs that I've read excellent things about. Wanted to go with something with less heat to avoid another mishap like this. Will post pics when everything arrives

You should just got the OEM route and go with the 2016 LED lamps, bad is they are super pricey but the light output is amazing on them.

Near $1000 a set, or more. Not gonna happen.

I have no problem spending money on this truck, but I am not spending $1k on headlights, especially when the light output on my non projector units were perfect

Just check which bulbs the aftermarket ones use. The factory Highs are H11 but many aftermarket knockoffs use H1 bulbs (not as bright, don't last as long, and are harder to find).

You can't retrofit the 2016 headlights into a 2014/2105 Silverado without changing most of the front clip (fenders, bumper, hood, grill, bumper filler, and lower air dam). It also requires some custom wiring.
