08 gmc savana 4.8 oxygen sensor issues

Recommended Posts

Make sure everything is plugged in nice and tight, make sure the pins in the connectors didn't get yanked out on the female end, or folded over on the male end, and that the wiring fell down and is resting on the hot exhaust.

If all that checks out, then the o2's could be not compatible, or out of spec for this model, or just poor quality.

You could measure the resistance of the sensors you replaced and compare that to the new ones. If I remember right, the fatter of the 2 wires is for the heater circuit.
