Kensun HID kit

Anyone use/d the Kensun HID kit? Is it any good? If not, any recommendations for an HID kit for the 2015 Sierra 1500 SLT? The brighter the better and would prefer 5000k. I have LED's bulb in now but not happy with them.

One last question before I order, any idea if the 50w ones have had heat issues?

As far as the Kensun kits go. I have had one on my 04 Duramax for 4 years and only had one bulb go bad a couple years ago, which they replaced free of charge. I also had one of their kits on wife's 12 wrangler for 2 years with no issues.

 

When coupled with the correct adapters for your application they can be every bit as good as the expensive kits.

I'm not sure what the factory projector is rated at. I'd stick to 35w to be safe. Plenty bright.

 

I had many cheap hid kits before and had issues with every one. Went with morimoto this time around and happy. Buy once, cry once. You get what you pay for.

Installed the 35w morimoto kit on my dads 15 sierra right after xmas. Pretty easy and straight forward install and man did it make a difference.
