I have searched and cannot find numbers. Going to be installing camburg uca's later this afternoon when they arrive and not sure if instructions will define specs. Can you help me out please? I will also take pics of installation and start a new thread also.

Thanks

So. On the upper control arm bolts (the adjuster bolts that hold the arm to the frame). There is two different design bolts, and each design uses a different torque spec.

If the cam bolt meets the following description: The OLD design bolt (b) is flat down the entire length of one side, has a removable adjust cam, and measures 110 mm (4.3 in).

The spec for that nut/bolt is 190 Y  (140 lb ft).

If the cam bolt meets the following description: The NEW design bolt (a) is slotted, does NOT have a removable adjust cam, and measures 102 mm (4 in).

The spec for that nut/bolt is 105 Y  (77 lb ft).

You MUST verify the design of the bolt.

The ball joint nut spec:

  1. First Pass: 50 Y (37 lb ft)
  2. Final Pass: (90–110 degrees)

I don't see a way to get a torque wrench on that upper ball joint so I did a best estimate

Thanks for the info. Do you have a spec for tie rod end torque?

Crow foot socket might do the trick for the uppers.

Tie rod end nut:

First Pass: 35 Y (26 lb ft)

Final Pass: (85–100 degrees)

Thank you sir! You have made my day a little easier.

Now get this..... my alignment guy doesn't have specs for a 2016 gmc Sierra ? Plus he said he wanted the specs that camburg would recommend because it's their uca I'm using. Camburg is out at a desert race this weekend
