That's it's a truck causes me to laugh when some people post that. They don't know automotive history, in some years in the past trucks were faster than cars. Even some SUVs, but the answer that's the best is because I want to.

The better question would be why not? What can I say I know I'm the odd ball who doesn't lift my truck and put bigger tires on my truck and I choose to drive fast in my vehicles. Just my preference is to see how fast I can make my truck. I'm sure down the road my truck will get a Pro Charger kit.

Hey, I have the same truck except stock. Question about the transmission: is it normal for it to be a bit klunky sometimes? Meaning at certain speeds, around 35 or lower, it seems to not be able to make up its mind what gear it wants to be in during stop-and-go/rolling traffic (if you know what I mean by that). I can feel and hear it engaging/disengaging. Doesn't do it every time but enough to wonder if that's normal

I do have the 5.3 and I have not been to the track yet. April 1st is when the track opens here. I'll be going the 1st and the 8th. As soon as I go I will post my time slips.

Mine does make a clunking noise here and there and I was always told it is due to the aluminum drive shaft.
