Wheel & fog light options

I just picked up a 2015 Silverado LS a couple weeks ago (2WD, V6). I am looking for info on 2 possible upgrades so I'm hoping you guys can help.

 

1. I have 17" rims with the 255/70 tires on it. If like to get some black rims and I'd I do, I'd liked to go to 18 or 20". What issues could I run into in doing so?

 

2. I have no fog lights in my bumper not the empty spots where they would be. Had anyone added any by cutting into the plastic part of the bumper and installed recessed LED fog lamps? What other options are there?

In regards to the wheel question, I found a great thread on people's setups but I guess my biggest question is if there is a difference being that my truck is only the 2WD V6 vs V8? I would assume that they all have the same suspension but can't find anything stating such.

I know there's a guy on here with a white silverado that had installed some custom led fog lights in his bumper before he got a new one with the fog lights. Can't remember his name but his truck is called DROPKICK.

 

I personally have 20x9s on my truck and have no issues with rubbing while turning. I am planning on doing a small lift though anyways.

Thanks for the info on the wheels. I know the guy you're talking about...I've seen some of his youtube videos. I'll go back and look for one showing the led lights.
