Z71 vs magride vs bilsteins

So I have a '14 all-terrain with the rancho's. Just got a '17 denali loaner with magride. I took it over some of the rough roads I drive on all the time to compare the suspension. Thing is great, exactly what I'd want out of the suspension. It feels way better on pot holes and random bumps and ruts, all while still giving that firm feeling.

And...my A/T has 20's and the denali has 22's.

My question is, has anybody ever compared the mag ride to bilstein 5100's? I know people say the bilsteins are firm but not jarring. Which is exactly how i'd describe magride.

I really want my truck to absorb bumps like this denali.

Can't speak to compare bilsteins to magnaride however bilsteins vs stock ranchos is no comparison. Ranchos bounced lIke a boat on the waves every bump. Body roll was terrible and didn't have a confident feel in corners. Bilsteins hit the bump, not jarring and it's one bump and settled no bouncy bouncy bouncy. Body roll is almost non existent and the truck feels planted to the ground finally. I also have mine on max height. I don't feel they are over firm and bilstein engineers I spoke with at length (great customer service) with concerns over ride quality at different settings say any ride difference is negligible if there is any at all. Main thing to remember the feel of the ride is very subjective. Most people who claim harsher on higher setting have no clue as they try various settings they just copied what they heard. For what it's worth I tried different settings I couldn't tell a difference.

No standard monotube shock will compare to the MRC system. Billstein may be better than rachos, but they can't compare to MRC.
