Best muffler for a Silverado 2500 6.0

Hello all.

I'm a new member here so I hope I'm posting in the correct area.

My question is what is the best mufflers for a 6.0 liter Silverado. As in sound performance etc? I've heard the 6.0 is a beast to try and quiet down. Im looking for a muffler that will give me a good deep sound without a lot of droning.

Go for a magnaflow 12909. It's a dual 3" inlet to a single 3.5" outlet. 22" length. It's very quiet. Straight through design gives good performance but there's absolutely no drone. I don't have cats and even then that muffler still keeps it quiet

I have a borla muffler on my truck. The casing is messed up and leaking. It's loud and does drone at highway speeds. I will be having it removed and a magnaflow installed.

How quite is it? I know it cant be described over text but louder than stock? I want to get a new muffler aswell bht i dont want to hotrod my truck just give it a more agressive sound

If you want a exhaust that is slightly louder than stock with a nice deep tone I would suggest Flo Pro.

Took me a long time to find a exhaust that I would be happy with no drone what so ever.

Idle to 2,000 rpm it's basically stock. You start to hear it over 2,000 rpm but it's quiet. And it's not the drone sound that a flowmaster has. It's an outside sound. It doesn't bounce around the cab and get annoying at all
