First time towing

So last week I towed my buddies car from Kansas City to Houston for TX2K17. Its the first time I have towed with this truck and was pleasantly surprised how smooth and well the 5.3 handled it. At one point i was getting 14-14.5 mpg at around 80mph (flat land obviously) with an average between 11-14mpgs.

 

This truck keeps surprising me even at 42k miles haha.

Very nice! I just hooked up my 14' took trailer for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised how well it did over my 2011. But just in power but less bucking and swaying. Kept reminding myself it was there.

Nice mileage!

I tow about 7k all summer long and get between 9-10mpg.

3.42 and 8 speed, truck is completely stock besides a level kit.
