Thanks for the heads up, I would have missed out! Just got my coupon. I just bought my truck a week and a half ago, I'll have to use this when I go pick up my plates. Now to choose between bed lighting, assist handle, floor liner, or brake controller.

I have to wonder if this is still a valid deal?

I purchased my truck back in July from a dealer in another state (4 hours away).

If this is indeed still a valid offer, I cant figure out how to get the coupon.

Also, does it HAVE to be done at the dealer the truck was purchased at or can it be done using a dealer closer to home?  Hell, i wont be going back to the dealer i bought it from unless i happen to be in the area and something happens to the truck.  I have a dealer here i'll be using for warranty work if/when its ever needed, but i'd sure like to get in on the $100 offer.

Would you happen to know the answers to the other questions I asked in the post as well?

My dealership was tricky, the icon wasn't a coin. Found it. Thanks for the deal!

im still curious if this can be used at a dealer other than the one you purchased from?

I found how to GET the coupon, but the area you enter your information to receive the coupon via email, specifically says the dealers name of the website your on, so i have to assume that the coupon will state the dealers name?

I got the coupon. Did it at the dealer's website I actually purchased from as well as the dealer's website I'll be using here at home. The coupons are the exact same with the exception of the dealers name in them.

I just emailed GM since no one here seems to know, in order to hopefully find out if it can be used at a different dealer than the one you purchase your vehicle from. IF I get a response back from GM, I'll post back what I find out.

Well I finally got the coupon, the dealership I bought my truck from isn't listed on the shop click drive website as a pertisapting dealer. Also my coupon says only valid when buying a new or used vehicle at the dealership I selected on the shop click drive website. I even tried to use the coupon code on GM's accessories website and it will not provide any discount

I bought my truck from a dealer 45 minutes away from my home. I use a dealer 5 minutes away for service. When I received my accessory bonus I tried to use it at my service dealer, but they declined it because I didn't  purchase the truck from them. I had to go to the dealer I purchased from to use the bonus on my assist handle and molded mud guards. I hope this helps. You'll likely have to drive the 4 hours for your bonus to be valid.

Yea, that's what I was thinking, but as you can see from a couple of post prior to mine some here apparently think that there was some folks that were being able to bypass that and actually do it at a different dealer other than the one they bought their vehicle from. That's why I pose this last question, I would love to know how someone by past that because I really don't want to go to my dealer and stand there and try to force him into doing something when he's going to laugh at me and send me packing because I didn't do business with them purchasing my vehicle.

It probably is just luck; depending on who the person ringing you up or how strict the dealership is. Doesn't hurt to try if they are close by.

Just call up the dealer you want to use the coupon at to see if they'll honor it.  That's the only way you're going to know for certain.

    • My truck is a ¾ ton but my placard also says 80 for the rear tires, I think I might have the upgraded suspension to the 3500 series maybe.   I put my air down to 60 and the light was still on, and there was no way I was putting over 60 psi in the rear empty and not towing because I knew the actual number Toyo gave me and I didn't wanna ruin the center of my tires!   And you actually can change it in the settings from metric or is and it will show kph or mph then when you go into your tire settings it will be either psi or kpa, but it would be nice to just change it directly on the tire psi page
    • Common Sense Assembly   Your driveline is forgiving of the occasional mistake. It will even often forgive the random serious blunder. But it will not forgive a continuous bad habit.      What? Not everything needs to be a five thousand word essay.
    • We drove about 15 minute east today to visit a friend and saw a steep increase in price in the same county. About 50 cents a gallon steepper.
    • Sure about that? A degree wheel and a dial indicator would lower your degree of assurance in that statement. 😉    It why we have offset keys and dialable timing sprockets. Just say'n.... I've built a few and have never seen one "On the money".
    • I will admit I haven't experimented much with pressure drops beyond the numbers I put in and part of that is that the numbers I used are fairly low and then found out it would trigger regardless at that 35 psi. Having said that I had tried before had changed the placard pressures and being that I have a 1 ton set to 80 on the placard for the rear I believe it triggered close to 60, the front I don't recall now for sure but thought maybe it could get close to 45 from that factory 60 placard pressure. So I never did figure out if it was a number of psi from placard pressure to the alarm or a percentage of the total placard number as some figured it was like a 25% drop from placard pressure would trigger it. So as to try and answer your question, I believe I set the placard pressure on the front to 47 or so and while I run the front tires at 40, they have dipped below that some if its colder and I haven't put "winter air" in yet and never once have had the front alarm go off. I would say that the answer your looking for is no, that if you set your placard pressure to 45, you have a certain amount of room to drop below that pressure before the alarm will go off.    The pressures you decide to run in your truck, that ends up being what makes sense to you based on what your carrying in your truck or if towing, then have to bump them back up to something that will carry the load in the rear and the fronts typically left at the same pressure. It all comes down to that chart I put the link to and using an accurate roadside scale to be your guide, both unloaded and then loaded to know your minimum safe pressures.    I just wish GM would allow a person to change the readings for the tire pressures to the English system of pounds as I have to look at that goofy metric reading that will never ever jive in my head and will go over and change it just to figure out what they are if need be and then change it back.
