i remember reading on this forum not that long ago about an aluminum cleaner that came in something similar to looking like toothpaste tube. I am looking to clean my atv rims and normally use mothers but several people chimed in how great it was. Anyone know the name of it and where to get it? I know its vague but thought it was worth a shot.

Yes, used it for years...

 

Keep in mind that Simichrome works best on non-clear-coated aluminum. If clearcoated, you should just use a good car polish, like Mothers or Meguiars 105/205.

Usually Simichrome is available at Harley dealerships. Bikers love the stuff.

Whats FItz? Do you guys think this product is that much better than mothers? I dont have a problem getting it but I will just have to order instead of going in garage and using mothers

I have this Adam's metal polish and this stuff is awesome!! I use it on all kinds of stuff. Exhaust tips, non coated alum wheels, kitchen sink, gun barrels, glock internals, etc.
