What is everyones opinion on a 2" or 2.5" rough country levelling kit for my 2015 sierra all terrain double cab, i have the 20" at wheels and have 285/60duratracs to put on it. I know that the only difference is that the 2.5" kit replaces the rear blocks with an extra inch but which would make my truck sit the nicest. I like a slight bit of rake but not much but dont know what the best option is

2.5 has a 2 inch bottom and 0.5 inch top spacer in the front

I'm looking at the 2.5" kit also now. Truck has 45,000 on it, I think the springs have settled a little, ride height is still good, but I do think sits a little lower overall now. I did a 1" front end lift about 30,000 miles ago which has worked well, thinking about going up another 1" all around. I would just use the lower spacer and swap out the rear block.

Ok i guess i will just go with the 2.5 kit since it is a bigger lift, i was told the only difference is that the 2.5 adds an inch to the rear but will just go with the bigger lift anyway

My understanding is that the higher the level, the harder it is on your suspension components. With 1.5" to 2" level you don't have to raise the back, it is easier to install, suspension angles are favorable and your truck still looks cool! There are hundreds of posts on this topic in this forum. I found reading most of them very useful and saved me a lot of money and possible regrets!

I would agree with this completely. I think 2" front end lift is the limit before swapping in upper control arms with modified geometry. 3-3.5" kits out there, not sure what purpose they really serve. My view is if you can't fit the tire you want with a 2" lift, odds are pretty good 3" isn't going to matter much, then you're off to the 4.5" stuff with relocated differential.
