Rear brake line replacement

Recommended Posts

Posted

3 out of 5 lines went out the other day on my 2000 sierra z71. Got the front lines done, now working on the one long line that goes to the rear before it splits to both wheels. It runs on top of the frame and gas tank. Dosnrt look like there's a great way to get it out, and haven't had any luck yet. Do I need to drop the tank, raise the bed, or keep fiddeling with it?

on my old '99 Yukon I just ran the line under the tank. I just secured it well and used tubing over it to protect any rub points from wearing through.
