Regualr cab sub install !

Wanting to add a sub to add a little thump for the bass, considering my regular cab doesn't have much room behind the seat I was wondering what are some methods / subs you guys have installed! Been looking at some combo sub/amp boxes wonder if that would be my best option . Hope to get some feedback!

I went pretty simple. A Rockford Fosgate Shallow Mount R2 12 inch subwoofer tucked behind the passenger seat and the Rockford amp under the passenger seat as well. Not the best setup but it was on the cheaper side and I like it.

in my old truck (89 chevy) i have a bazooka tube sub behind the passenger seat

it adds a nice bit of bottom end but nothing insane (i'm not a huge audio guy at all)

...and just since i'm posting a pic of 'my baby' i think it's only fair you get to see what she looks like on the outside....

i still love that truck

I installed a JL audio 12" truck wedge and it fits perfect behind the passenger seat.

I just bought a dual 8'' powered JL microsub for mine. I haven't installed it yet but the box is only 5'' deep so it fits great behind the seats.

I had the Rockford fosgate p3 shallow 10" behind the seat in my 06 single cab Tacoma and it rocked. I now have the jl audio 12tw3-d4 shallow sub. I will recommend the jl audio shallow 10" or 12" if you can fit it behind there. They are a little high in price but well worth it, thing is built like a tank. I have it powered by the alpine Mrv 500m at less than half gain.

The only thing I have to mention is, while the jl is shallow mount with 3.25-3.5" mounting depth, from the top mount on the box the jl sticks out farther and has more excursion so you need i a little more space in front of this particular sub. The jl grill works great though.
