I would definitely check with a body guy who does detailing also to see your options.

 

As stated, with the eraser wheel it gets hot and thus you need to keep it moving

I would definitely take it to a body shop if your not good with sanding and buffing, depending on how bad it burnt the clear, it honestly may just need a light wet sanding and buff! I personally would watch a couple YouTube videos on how to wet sand, then go buy some 1000 grit and 2000 grit sandpaper, and some thick mothers compound(usually blue in color) and buff it. Worst you can do is sand through the clear, and basically if that's the case, you need a respray anyhow!

Also you can try lightly taking some #000 steel wool to it, I mean I'm talking LIGHTLY!!!

I think it'll literally buff out. You need some good compound not the AutoZone shit and an orbital buffer. I think those make are just from the yellow wheel. Next time I recommend the 3M wheel but you should be ok. If you don't wanna do it take it to a detailer. If you're in So Cal I'll do it for you for free
