4wd problem

So, recently i had a popping noise coming from the front end of my 2016 sierra 1500 4x4. i took it to the dealer and they said both front struts were what was popping and warrantied them. About a week went by and i heard it again. I put it in 4wd to see if it was a CV axle and as i reversed out of the parking spot i made a slight turn and the truck seized up and wouldn't move anymore even though the engine was still revving. has anyone heard of an issue like this? 14,000 miles on truck and its all stock.

You need to read up on how four wheel drive works.

Front wheels normally spin a little faster than the rear wheels in a turn. So when you turn on four wheel drive and lock all four of the wheels to the same speed that will happen in a turn. Turn the wheels on dry pavement and it will bind and lock up because they aren't aloud to spin like normal.

You may have an issue with something but your 4wd was functioning as intended to my knowledge.
