Rear Cameras

I have a 2015 Silverado 1500. I installed a rear camera and used the OBD Genie to flash for the camera to work. Unfortunately, while my camera is plugged into the factory port, my reverse lights stay on, even while driving. When I unplug the camera, the reverse lights work normally. Any ideas would be very helpful.

This is interesting.

Obviously this wan't the case before you flashed with the OBD genie. Can you remove the software program it installed? I'm guessing it's not hardware even tho a new camera is plugged in. When you put it in drive does the camera stay on? I wonder if the 12V reverse stays active for the cam and lights. Could be the program just tells the 12V to stay active...incomplete or bad coding?

I'm just brainstorming so hopefully it helps.
