Just a little bit of background information for the situation I want some help in figuring out. About the middle of June last year, they hired a new girl (we will call her girl #1) at the place I was working for the summer. She was working in my department (the only girl about my age in the whole area), and was a pretty good looking girl. Didn't really talk to her all that much the first week or so, other then introducing myself. Then after a while she started talking to me all the time, on breaks, lunch time, just whenever. This went on for a couple of weeks, didn't really think much of it. One day she came up and asked what I was doing on Sat. night, and since I wasn't doing anything she wanted to go out for dinner. Now being the wise young man that I am, there was no way I was going to say no since she was asking me out. Based on past experiences, those dates normally turn out pretty good. LOL

 

Well, this date was kind of starange. Things went really well between me and girl #1 but she wanted her roommate to go along after we got done eating. I figured nothing much was going to happen after that, and was right. From this point on and for the rest of the summer, she kept talking to me at work and we started spending more time together after work. That kept on going even after I had to go back to college. So one day about February, I decided to ask girl #1 why we weren't dating, because I kind of thought we should be. Her roommate even agreed with me, and insisted that I ask. I asked, and the only reason she had was because I was younger then her. Now this is a total BS reason and I know that, but it is even more so when you consider that fact that she is barely a year older then me. She wasn't going to back down from this reason either. From that point on, I looked at her as a friend and that is it.

 

Jump forward a couple of months from that point to May. I haven't been taking to girl #1 all that much because I have all kinds of stuff going on. Just about ready to graduate from college, and my cousin is needing all kinds of help getting his first cutting of alfalfa done. So basically I am at school from 7am until about 4pm, and then I was going to work for my cousin until 11 or 12pm. After that I would come up, finish up homework and do the same thing the next day. This went on for a couple of weeks. Now I would still talk to girl #1 on the phone occasionally, and I even helped her move stuff out of her basement one day. Finally school was over with, so my best friend, his girlfriend, her friend, and I were going to go out and celebrate. We were out at the bar enjoying a few beers, and me and the friend kind of hit things off. We will call her girl #2. So me and girl #2 decided to go out the next day. Here is where things get interesting. LOL

 

On Monday I stop by girl #1's house to help finishing move stuff like I told her I would. She doesn't seem very happy, but I don't know why. So I ask. (bad move) Somehow, girl #1 found out that I was out with girl #2 two nights in a row. I don't know if she saw us, or someone told her. Really isn't important. Now in my mind this is quite alright because I'm not going out with girl #1, never have been, and never will be. Well, she absolutely goes off on me being out with this other girl. :fume: I kind of stand there confused why she just rips into me. Finally I tell her I'm not going to put up with this crap, and leave. Haven't talked to girl #1 since that point (can you blame me?). Then yesterday she pulls up beside me while I am driving to the mall, gives me the finger, and drives off. LOL

 

Now all in all I find this story very amusing. Makes for some great conversations while out enjoying :fume: with my buddies. But seriously, I would like to know why girl #1 got so mad. Because with me, if any of my female friends go out on a date, I'm happy for them. I have no plausible explaination, and neither does anyone else I know. Sorry for the long story, but I honestly to see if someone can come up with a good explaination.

she is jealous...maybe she was afraid to "commit" to just you and her dating...but she wanted you to only date her... :mad::mad::fume: some people. Good luck. are you still seeing #2 right now?

I think it all comes down to what YOU want. Which girl do you have more fun with and have more interests in common? If you like girl# 1 better then you should confront her and talk to her and explain that due to your previous conversations that you were not TOGETHER. So, you thought it only natural to jump on a new chick....

Girl #1 likes/liked you, but didn't want to commit. She knew that you liked her, so she figured you would just go on liking her even though she would never commit. She figured that as long as you liked her, you wouldn't date anybody else. Then she saw you with #2, and reality set in that you aren't going to wait forever for her, and that she should have taken you when she had the chance, so now she is pissed. Sorry about all the mess...you sound like you are the same age as me because I just finished college too. Some girls are :fume: If you want it to work out with #1, try calling her and explain what was going on. Honestly though, I do feel that in order for all of us here at GM-Trucks to fully understand the situation, we will need to see pictures of both girls!! :fume:

She's jealous. And because she's a female she really does not need any rational reasoning for her actions. :fume:

 

No really, sounds like she was happy thinking you wanted to be with her, but not having to commit. She probably has one of those complexes where she thinks you wouldn't be able to get over her. She figured she could string you along without commitment getting whatever she wanted, but giving nothing in return.

 

Good luck with girl #2. :fume:

Secondly, if you want to get back with girl #1, try this...

 

(insert girl #1 name here, why are you upset with me? I thought we were just friends, not exclusive. I really like you, and found myself wanting more. Since you told me you weren't interested in dating me, I figured, I needed a distration to keep me from getting too serious with you. After all, you are a great/attractive girl, and any guy would be crazy not to fall for you. I didn't want to ruin our friendship by falling for you knowing you didn't feel the same way.

Here is a piece of advise...... leave the CRAZY-a$$ women alone!!!

 

No matter how good she looks, you are better off without the crazies.

 

She could not only make your life a living hell, she could also interfer with any potential future relationships. So when she gives you the bird,...... give it back - with MEANING! :fume:

That's how girls see it - as a game! She is obviously jealous. Move on and find yourself a better girl. If she was that bad when the 2 of you were not even in an exclusive relationship it could only get worsre if the 2 of you got serious! :mad:

 

Trust me, you will know when you find the right one! I will be married 5 yrs this October and I don't have any regrets! :mad:
