275 vs 265

I will be replacing my tires this end of summer, I have my eyes on a wrangler duratrac. My stock is a P265/65r18 planning to replace it with LT275/65r18 since I will be planning to pull a travel trailer next year. My question is, will it have an effect on my abs and speedometer? Has anyone tried it before? I have a 2014 silverado ltz z71 1500. Thanks in advance for any input/advise I will be getting.

It's 1/4" wider or so you won't notice a difference

It's about half an inch taller and almost half an inch wider. Your speedo will be off about 1.6%.

Depends on what gears you have in your truck as to how much your going to feel the power loss. 3.42's should be fine. However if your maxing out your tow rating with 3.08's then yes you will feel it.

By the way, will it fit my stock rims? Since it's a little wider.

Yes it will fit just fine [emoji106]

I would choose the 275's if you get a better price and/or you prefer the look. There will be no noticeable advantage for trailer pulling.
