Trac bars install

A while back I bought calvert trac ba4s for my truck. And now wanting to put them on. Peo0le that have them.. so my question is pull bed off to lower gas tank or lower tank with bed on? The driver side leaf spring bolt is the only reason I haven't put this kit on alot sooner. Thanks for looking and please feel free to share and tips or tricks on this install. And yes I do know that the aluminum bushings need to be pressed in and not hammered in.

Lower the tank. No need to lift the bed

You just scoot the tan over enough to get the bolt out. You'll be fine.

I just found out a way.. don't have to remove the tank..

Yeah I just ran my truck to 1/8th tank of gas when I did my axle flip. then my tank slipped off the jack and broke my vent solenoid..whoops

If I remember correctly on my buddies truck I cut the bolt flush with the nut and pushed it inward and the spring was pried outward and dropped. Now that was 3 years ago! LOL

I was told by calvert. That you do not have to remove the tank.. Un loosen nut from bolt just enough to sag.. cut head of bolt off. And remove bolt from driver side. All I got to do is get a new bolt..
