here are a couple pics of the truck, after lifting it 6 inches the oem side steps would not cut it , so i went with amp research, love how they turned out, and love that you cant see them when doors are closed, makes the truck look higher and cleaner imo. of course oem is always better but i wish they would go down lower as they were not designed for a lifted truck.

Love it! What lift did you go with? My Denali is going in the shop for 6" lift next week. Also white!

i went with the BDS since they have the relocation brackets and everything to work with the factory magna ride sensors . they make qaulity stuff. still planning to swap out my magnaride stuff with aftermarkter suspension.

yea they do but the regular amp boards work great for 6 inch lifts, the extensions im assuming are for the higher lifts

Actually the extended Amps are designed perfectly for 6" lifts. The extended ones have a 3" extension which is exactly half the lift height. This gives you equal step heights from ground to step to door sill.

As long as you are happy with the ones you bought that's all that matters. That's what is great -- there are choices out there!!

it may be right for the desiel trucks or other 2500 trucks that come already high factory, but the 1500 denali sits very low stock , so with the 6 inch lift i found these to work perfectly without any extensions. thanks
