I had what was called a vitesse throttle controller in my Camaro. The drive by wire pedal, had a decent delay. Once I installed the controller, I was able to find a setting that I liked and felt accurate. The best way to describe it was like driving an old carb'd muscle car, where the gas pedal was directly connected to the carb and if you pressed the gas pedal 50% the carb would open 50%.

not sure if this thing is similar

I've had good luck with a JMS Pedalmax for my 2015 Duramax. Definitely a huge improvement....

buy a sprint booster. night and day, i love it

Do you have any pictures, product info? There is a lengthy thread on here about jamming a piece of wood behind the pedal, not too sure about a fix like that.

ur over thinking the wood, all u have to do is get a paint stick and take the flex out of the plastic gas pedal bracket, its rediculous simple. the sprint booster goes inline with the plug for the throttle by wire and advances the signal. much more responsive pedal and it doesent void the warranty.

I saw this too. I believe it was in the "$50 and under mods" thread.

So, did you both?

yea it helped tremendously. every once in a while the trans will get confused but its so much better. best alternative to a tune, id like to tune it but want my warranty for at least another year or two
