Powerball

Well you probably all know about that BIG Powerball prize they had going right? I think the grand prize for all 5 numbers plus the powerball was 250 million. The drawing was Wed. night a two ppl won it. One was in Montana and the other right here in PA. (Where I live) Now I knew this before I checked my numbers, so of course I thought to myself, "Hey, ya never know!"

 

So I get home and start checking my numbers.

 

1 number correct...

-Cool

2 numbers...

-Wow

3 numbers...

-Starting to sweat

4 numbers...

This is too good to be true

 

But that's where my luck ended.

 

Now I got 4 out of 5 of the regular balls and I didn't get the powerball. Now I don't play powerball very often, but when that prize hits over 200 million, I figure, why not!? So, of course I'm interested in knowing how much I won.

 

Let me put it this way, if I would have matched that one last number, I would have got $100,000!!! So you would think that 4/5 would be a nice payoff as well right??

 

Nope. only $100.

 

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for the 100 smackaroos, but that 100,000 sure would of fixed up the Tahoe realllll nice!!! Anyway, I went to the store, bought a steak, and ate like a king last night.

 

I guess there's always next time.

Where in Western PA are you from? I saw the ticket was sold in Cranberry... (about 40 miles South of me).

Down here in the Bible Belt. They feel it is to much of a sin to have a lottery. But we sure do have our fair share of Topless clubs.

 

NC is just a little behind on the times and I don't think we will be getting one any time soon. Instead everyone in NC goes to SC or Va to spend their hard earned cash in hopes of winning it big. So who is loosing out?

The other ticket was in Herman, Missouri not in Montana. Sorry you didn't get lucky. I played and only got 1 number on two of the 5 tickets.

The most I matched was 3 #'s on 1 ticket out of 20 tickets!
