2010 silverado ac issues

Ok so my 2010 silverado's ac quit working on all levels except when it was on high. I posted about it and someone mentioned to change the blower motor resistor. I did that and my air worked fine for about a week and now it is not working at all. When i am driving it blows out a little cool air but when I come to a stop it doesnt blow at all. Other days I will try and turn it on and it works fine, only on the highest setting. Then I will get off work on a hot day and turn it on and nothing again besides the little cool air that comes out while i am driving. Anyone have any suggestions on what the issue may be? Thank you in advance.

Might be worth asking this in the correct gen forum for your specific year. Maybe you need an AC recharge, or you have a leak somewhere. Perhaps the mods can move this to the correct forum

Most likely just changing the resistor treated the symptom not the disease. Typically if a resistor burns out it is a strong indication of a bad or weak blower motor. Go ahead and replace with a new motor and resistor for a more permanent fix.
