CARR super hoop truck steps?

I have a 2017 Silverado crew cab Z71. It's bone stock, no lift etc....and no running boards. I am 5'9" and ride with the seat in the farthest UP position. I find myself sliding out of my seat to get out of the vehicle, and 'climbing' into my truck....Im afraid I'm eventually going to ruin my seat from the unnecessary wear from sliding out etc...

I'm not a huge fan of running boards/nerf boards...I like the clean slim look of a truck without em. However, the convenience would be nice. I've been looking at the CARR super hoop truck steps for my truck. Anyone have experience with these? Pictures? Would this look goofy on a non lifted truck?

To each his own but those steps are yesterday's news. Look out of place on a 14+ Silverado IMO and there are much better looking options out there.

Those steps look like they belong on a 1992 lifted reg cab F250. Go with something different and the A pillar grab handle. That'll help your seat last longer.

GM has some nice looking running boards and nerf bars, but they can be pricey. I actually had the chrome running boards thrown in as part of the deal when I bought my truck initially. You could get some AMP retractable steps... Best of both worlds.

My dad got a like new set of oem boards for $150 on Craigslist. They're on there all the time for cheap!!
