2017 HD diesel high country no fob auto fold

Hey fellas,

Quick qs. Have a 2017 hd diesel high country. Upgraded to power fold tow mirrors. Got a lot of info on herebfor that so thank you. Qs is the mirrors don't power fold when I hold the fob down. I checked in the mylink under settings vehicle comfort and convenience and there's no programmed option in there for auto power fold with fob. I guess it doesn't come equipped which is weird considering the level of truck. My qs is can this be programmed into the my link system and made a possible option to turn on or am I stuck without this being equipped. Thanks fellas.

That is really odd considering the trim level, as far as I have seen it can't be added later

It works on my 2017 High Country so yours should work also. Do they fold from the button on the door? When you say upgraded did your truck come with the tow mirrors? If you added the tow mirrors did you change the harness in the doors? It may also require a programing update to work. My 2015 didn't require a programing update but things may have changed for 2017.

Pretty odd. I'd see if the dealership can reprogram it. Can't imagine they couldn't. If anything, you might have to purchase a new infotainment system for a model that comes with the power told, but that's all in the programming, which is why I can't imagine not being able to reprogram

Maybe a programming or wiring issue. Did you old mirrors power fold when you held the lock button down?

I have an LTZ with tow mirrors and once the menu settings in the infotaimnemt center were set, they work as expected.

Double hit the lock button holding it down on the second hit. That's how I fold mine in on my 3500 denali

You were in the right place in the menu

Auto Mirror Folding

When on, the outside rearview

mirrors will automatically fold or

unfold when the Remote Keyless

Entry (RKE) transmitter lock or

unlock button is pressed and held.

Select Off or On.

It should always work from the button on the arm rest.

I still think it is a missing or mis-wire
