XM Channels

I have a '15 Sierra with XM subscription. I also have an Edge XM receiver with the same XM subscription. There are some XM channels that I like that are numbered in the 300s. I can get them with my Edge but not in the truck. Is there a way to get these through the factory radio in the truck?

When you call them, they may offer you a free receiver; they did this for me a couple years ago for some other issue I was having. I declined as I wanted a factory look and not this aftermarket type device, but to each their own. At least they tried to help.

Are you sure they have the same subscription? Some of the higher channels are included in the "Premier" package but not in the "Select" package.

They have the same supscription. I checked my account online to confirm. There's something different about the higher channels. When I got the Edge receiver, I tried to use my home cradle with the Edge in my house. I couldn't get the higher channels until I got an AC adapter that put out a slightly higher voltage. I'm guessing that the receivers that GM uses can't get the higher channels.
