Personally, I don't like body colored bumpers, and I don't need the added complexity of the Magnaride. So choosing the SLT was a no-brainer for me.

for those that are still looking, and since this is a 2500 thread....

 

Magnetic ride control is only available on 1500 Denali -- not available on the hd's

 

Denali's do have 12 way seats instead of the 10 way on SLT (and on the high trim chevs including on the high country)

It's all relative. If someone has the dough and wants a Denali, why not? My buddy has a 2017 2500 duramax Denali and it is very much a work horse. He is also able to do a tax write off for it. So if you want top of the line and can afford it, go for it!

 

Back to the OP's point, I don't think expecting a case for owner/warranty materials is too much to ask for these expensive trucks.

They should provide a decent case.
