Im baaaaaack!

Jeez! you leave for a couple of weeks and a bunch of new names pop up. Well, guys i got a new job! I am no longer hawking cars- i sell class rings now....i work for Commememorative Brands- they sell class rings under the Artcarved brand. I'm a Marketing Manager in charge of college marketing. Basically i make up the promotions and the advertising for the class ring sales! Total 180 degree change for me.

Thanks guys! The change was due to a well educated workforce (.coms, Dell, IBM, Apple, Motorola and AMD employees) slowing down and laying off alot. these people had to find some kind of work and the type of work i do is perfect for them....sure the can piss away millions of dollars on their www.toaster_bargains.com website but can they REALLY make a customer happy over the phone? Austin is innundated with call centers and frankly why pick a grease monkey who can talk to people over a guy who made a million on his ipo and then lost it the next week? oh well, such is life...i had to do what i had to so my family could be comfortable....plus the job is cake.
