Wheel clear coat

2015 GMC Sierra SLT 20” wheels.  Coating appears to be coming off wheel spokes and center cap.  Anyone else seeing this.  This is a Florida truck.

Just take it to the dealer and see it if is warrantable, if not you are on your own, if it is you get a new wheel(s).  Not sure what answer you are looking for, if you search there have been some who have had a similar problem.

My '14 Sierra SLT with 18" wheels had clear coat peeling around the valve stems.  The dealer replaced them under the bumper to bumper warranty.

If you’re under 36k, they’ll replace them. If not, you’re SOL.

yeah that's a wear item, no warrantee on rims, just keep em waxed so they dont oxidize anymore

Was the truck purchased new or used?

Thanks guys, truck was purchased as a certified used vehicle. Still has some original warranty plus addition 2 years.

What I was looking for was similar problems with other vehicles. Always planned to go back to dealer.

Update, dealer will replace all wheels and center caps under warranty.  Upgraded to the same wheel in chrome.
