Hey I am brand new to the forum and I will soon be lowering my truck here real soon I'm thinking of going straight into a 6/8 and I wondering who here can tell me if I will need tubs or not I am planning to keep my stock 20s and going with a smaller tire of course. Anything I should know?

my 2015 rcsb is dropped 4/7 and i am using stock 20's with stock height tires.  the front tires rub inner fenders when cut hard to left or right.  although rare, it will rub when hit a dip in road when at speed but it's very rare.

I'm at a 6/9 with a 29 inch tall tire in front and still have the 31 inch tall tires in rear.  No tubs or cutting but does bottom out on upper inner fenders over big bumps.  Added helper bags to rear for hauling stuff.

You will be at a huge rake if you want 6/8.  In a regular cab. If you want "level" looking. You do a 5/8 or 6/10

If you go that low don't do the front the cheap way    you also will not have to tub as long as you go with a small tire. Like a 275 40 20.  But then your front valance will scrape on everything

You Wil need to have your bed cut though

Im currently at a 6” drop in the front with camber and soon I’ll be installing adjustable control arms but I’m not sure rather to raise it up an inch or not because I’m afraid of banging up my fender when coming a cross nasty uneven roads.... any advice?
