Can anyone tell me the part number for the black lower bumper plastic that comes on the midnight editions. I have the chrome one on my Z71 and I'm removing it to go with the all black. Thanks.

Mine is already removed and I would sell it. My truck has 900 miles on it so it's in great shape. Not sure what to ask for it.

Unfortunately, the black bumper "skid" plate as GM calls it is not available separately, and must be purchased with the entire lower bumper filler. The part number is 84029815. All GM will sell separately is the chrome "skid" plate 23243083, which you already have.

I'll be taking mine off around December and adding a custom skid plate that extends to the lower bumper...You can definitely have mine around then.  It doesn't have any cut out for tow-hooks, but it's what' your'e looking for/those can be made.

Parents live in Prosper, so I imagine you can't be too far from there.

I’d like to get rid of that chrome as well, but don’t really want to have to replace all that mess. I’m not too interested in painting or wrapping either. Anybody come up with other solutions?

I see you only having 3 options. 1) painting or wrapping it 2) replacing the whole thing with a black one 3) taking it off completely
