Hose hanging down underneath truck

Hey guys, new to the forum. I noticed that my 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 has a wierd vibration when I put it in drive and I'm just idleing. It goes away when I put it in park and/or push on the accelerator. I also noticed a hose hanging down by the transfer case I have attached a picture. Does anyone have any ideas ?

That should be a vent line for the transmission and it should be on top of the trans housing generall

The front skid "plate" seems to have seen better days too..

Yeah I think I caught a stick up under there when I was out at deer camp

  Trying to install a jump seat instead of center console, but have to remove the Bose sub. Any ideas on where to relocate that sub or replacement options for under seat with harness? Haven’t messed much with audio before.

  ...was looking to see what the 3 post OP had to say since they've got a personal issue here and 3 different threads they made within the same time period...just today....and then regurgitating that some owners on facebook and other forums have issues which is a small number out of total ownership of 3.0 Duramaxes.

  Just a guess based on the mentions I've seen on this forum... Failing coolant control valves (LM2, LZ0) No start / long crank issues (LM2) Thrust bearing failures (LZ0) Timing chain failures (LM2) Fingers crossed GM has more revisions and updates in the work because the 3.0 is awesome (when it can be trusted).
