I changed the fuel pump assembly in my 97 GMC Sierra C1500. For some unknown reason it gets fuel up to the bleeder valve by the throttle body but not into the throttle body itself. What are some of the options that could be wrong?

Plugged injectors,  bad pressure regulator (not likely, but worth a check), or an electrical problem that is preventing the injectors from opening.

If I remember right, this vehicle has that injection "spider" - everything is under the intake manifold, so unplugging individual injectors is not possible. The large plug on top should provide access to the correct wires to see if you have injector pulse.

 

Going to need a wiring diagram - there's a pile of wires in there ...

 

ECM is WAAAAY down on the list - got to check quite a few things first before you get to that stage.
