LIfter Tick when cold

Afternoon y'all, 

 

I have a 2016 Silverado that has a tick when I cold start it in the morning but goes away once I start driving, the engine runs smoothly afterwards with normal valve train chatter. Do y'all think this is something I should be concerned with as far as the cam wearing down? Also would the truck through a code if there was a lifter failing or would it be something that takes time. Sorry for the question, Ive never had to deal with this issue with any of my other GM trucks.

It could be anything ticking. How do you know its a lifter? Most GDI engines tick.

I dont know for sure its just a tick that I hear when its cold starting. Knew that due to the AFM the V4 lifters tend to fail.
