Any one have issues with truck no start after putting fuel in rear tank? Third time it happened requiring a tow. Have power in truck but won't crank at all. 3 times I put fuel in rear tank and 3 times it dies. They replaced fuse box but I knew that wasn't the problem. Any help appreciated.

Rear tank? I didn't know GM had a dual tank arrangement...

Current Cab and chassis models can be had with front or rear or both

23.5 front or 40 rear or 63.5 both

Is there fuel in the front tank when this happens?

IIRC, they the dual tank trucks pump from the rear tank to the front tank.

So the 'no crank' occurs after shutting off hot/warm truck to add fuel?

If so, seems like electrical issue unrelated related to hot shutdown rather than related to adding fuel.

Dual fuel tanks is the arrangement that had the recent recall due to level sensor in front tank sticking.

They pump from rear to front.  Apparently. sensor detects front level to start/stop pump.

Front tank was almost full. I got about 10 bucks into the back tank before it shut off.  Ive used the rear tank 2 in last 3 years and same thing happened.

Just received recall  notice about rear tank but its about tank expansion not about a no crank situatuon

You're saying it shut itself off while you were adding fuel?

I was thinking you had shut it off (while warm/hot) to add fuel and then it wouldn't crank.
