07 4l60e 1-2 accumulator question

07 silverado 2wd ...I have been dealing with a hard 1-2 shift.. I decided to check accumulator and when I took the piston out there's only the small spring.. Isn't it supposed to be a big spring too???

Plastic or metal piston. If metal, then someone may have tuned the system.

No.. It hasn't been tuned.. Even shift kits would have a return spring.. It's plastic. It wold have been firm shift in all gears.. The was only 1-2 and banged hard.. . somebody made a big mistake lol .. Hope nothing else is botched up

Well.. Maybe nobody had botched up anything.. Just talked to a guy says they run them both ways.. With two or one spring depending on electronics.. So fml lol .. I'll get it figured out.
