My warranty is out. Just hit 36k yesterday on the way home from work. So now I can do all the things that I didn't want to do till it was out so the dealer could not give me a hassle in case I needed work done on it. First stop is to change out the dexcool to the green stuff. I know most probably don't see the need but it makes me feel better. With all the research I did when my Venture problems came about I don't have a good feeling running dexcool coolant. So many horror stories about it.

Thanks to all of you for your posts. I got a lot of things taken care of at the dealer while it was still under warranty.

I ran out of warranty with the years instead of miles, the trucks just got 26K on it..

Our Ranger has hardly 7K on it. Our last one only got 80K when we owned it  . However, my cousin runs his own business and those trucks get miles galore. One '98 F-150 he had racked up I believe 100K in one or two years. The '98 Blazer (the one I drive) just rolled over 100K.

Didn't want to spring for the extended warranty?

My goal is to always have it paid off before I run out of warranty...... However that means I can't have as many toys.... And with these trucks toys are very important.............

Got get me some new toys....

I didn't get the extended warranty. I felt that with the luck I have had with my other GM products that it wasn't worth it, never had any problems. Well now the van is a different story and at least it happened under the original warranty.

I would have had this paid off in the three year period but the miles just racked up. I bought it under the first offered 3 year 0%. If I had only known that they would have offered the 60 month 0% then I would have waited. That way my house, I mean truck payments wouldn't have been so high.
