I have the one with the cubby installed on my 2015 right now. Looking to change it out for the trailer brake one to cut and install some light switches. I have the 4x4 version.

Thanks Steve, I'm not in a hurry at all.  If you find yourself wanting to sell the rubber insert at sometime, let me know  - Mark

Max,

If I stumble across the one from my 2015 Silverado, you can have it, just cover S/H.

Well I finally got around to installing my switches in the infamous cubbyhole panel. I took one with the trailer brake control cutout and modded it with a 2” hole to fit the switch pod. Unfortunately I did not have the correct wire sizes to wire up my fuse/relay/power distribution panel over the weekend, but gonna try and knock it out this weekend.

Looks good. I have a trailer brake so going to have to find a different spot to place all my switches. I already have my dixie horn on center console by my leg. Easy to hit with my knee and piss off drivers who cut me off.

Nice. I want to upgrade from jumpseat to full console but can’t afford that right now. Would make life so much easier. Lol

How did you epoxy it?

I used some 2-part epoxy to bond a piece of ABS plastic over the pocket after I cut off the back of the pocket. Then, I sanded it smooth and painted it.

Replaced my cubby hole cover plate with the trailer brake cover plate. Then cut out opening for my light switches. Trailer brake cover plate is flatter and accepts switches better with a "factory" like look.

Where can I find the same trailer brake cover plate that you used? I have searched around and can’t find one. I’m wanting to do the same thing and add 2 rocker switches there for my roof light bar and the other for my light bar on my brush guard. I want that factory look like you’ve got yours looking.
