Transfer case specs

Hey all,

 

Thanks in advance for any input,

 

Truck is a 2002 sierra 1500hd, curious what numbers to look for when selecting a replacement transfer case for my truck.

 

It's a 246 auto, I have a picture of the tag on my current t case. If anyone needs numbers.

 

Can i just throw in any 246, or do I have to put in a specific model etc...
