Oh man, this is funny as hell, the cat took a dump, and when she came out of the litter box she sat on the floor and wiped her rear with the carpet! She left a s**t trail on the carpet! I have never seen her do that before. Now I need to watch where I step.

BTW - she is a manx and because of their deformity they have poop problems.

When my old dog got old he used to go out in the yard and use his front legs to pull and drag his butt around the yard for hours at a time.

Sounds like Paco has a fun filled cleaning job in the near future! :jester:

And a s**tty one at that! Sorry, coouldn't resist. :D

Has she had her anal glands checked yet? My dog has to get his checked every time he gets his hair cut, otherwise he leaves more s**t streaks on the floor then at a gay pride festival. :seeya::lol:

Ours use to do that and leave it on the outside of the litter box when it was mad at you. If you paid it attention for the most part it was fine but for some reason if you were busy that day and didn't pet it or pay attention to it you could be assured that it would leave a nice present for you outside of the litter box.

My dogs have to have them checked too. Great thread title.

that "wiping on floor" is due in many cases to worms. Might try the vet, don't think there is something wrong, I believe most animals have them at some point
