Lift spindle

Does anyone have a lift spindle. I'm looking into one for my regular cab. I see maxtrac and CST. What is preferred?

I have 3" lift spindles but they are just a cheap Ebay set I found. they have been working great with no issues.

I havent looked at the maxtrac or CST. Maybe someone else will chime in with knowledge of them.

Good Luck on which ever you choose. Are you doing the install yourself?

I'm leaning towards cst becsuse 3.5. I just want to fit 285 70 17.

Put it on my truck for a few months. Then when I get bored lower it back down. I'm saving all my lowering stuff and wheels

I get bored and do dumb things

You have a 2WD truck?

CST all day. 3.5”

Should be able to fit 35s under there. I was planning on doing this upgrade once I get to 60k miles.

I’m running 285/70/17 on a 1.5” level up front with 0 offset wheels. No rubbing at all.

I cant do a level. I need a spindle I'd feel like I Mickey moused it if I did one of those leveling kits

I dont want a 35. Just a 33

I've been looking at pictures with just a 3" spindle but all I'm finding is a 4.5 spindle pr coilovers.

I have 4" lift spindles on my 2008 Suburban. Mine are from Skyjacker. You have to call Skyjacker though to get them by themselves instead of buying a whole kit. But with that comes other things you may have to do depending on how the spindle is made. Stock are usually straight at the upper ball joint socket and straight at the tie rod socket. My spindles had a curved neck for the upper ball joint and tie rod. I had to get offset ball joints and trim an inch off the tie rod shaft and tie rod end.
