My 33s 275 60 20 Fit without level

Anxious to get my level put on this week. I thought I would test fit the wheels and tires that I bought. After tying back the felt the tire seem to fit fine without rubbing.

I think I'm only going 2 up front rather than 2.5.

And 1 in in the back

 

I can tell you these Duratracs ride a lot nicer than my stock Michelin.afddc34aac3bf0219829c9454c2be0ee.jpg

Those look nice. They fill the wheel well nicely. Can’t wait to see it with the 2/1 level.

I picked up a set of duratracs a couple months ago in the same size, I have really enjoyed them so far. I like them much more than the BFG’s they replaced, and the sr-a are just a joke to me haha. Looks good man!

Glad to hear the good news about the tires. What kind of air pressure are you running

I have a picture request, if you dont mind.  How close to the rear edge of the fender are the 275/60R20's?  If you had mud flaps on the back do you think they would touch?  Looks close in the side profile picture you posted, but it could just be the angle.

Sorry I didn't take any other pictures.
I took the tires off and having my level installed today.
I did drive the truck about 10 miles without the level and these tires did not rub at all front or rear.
I do believe you will be ok

I drove on my 33" for a week before getting the 5100 installed, its fine. Especially if you already tied the the fender linings back.

Looks good.  I would also be interested to hear what air pressure you've got in the tires?

I’ve been running somewhere between 35-40 psi. Here’s the back tire by the oem mudflap from the inside and outside edge of the tire. I’ve swapped all 4 corners with Billy’s a few years ago, don’t think the back angle would change much though. Fronts are adjusted to max height for what it’s worth.

Somewhat upset with the level that I had put on today because they only raised the front of my truck 1.75 in rather than the 2 in I requested. They told me that if they went with the spacers underneath the strut and the spacer over the strut I would have issues with a bump stop. But after driving it with the 1.75 level on the front and the two and a half inch block in the rear this truck drives better than it did. So I'm happy about that.
Now excited to get my wheels and tires put back on

Haha I think I got like 1.85” or something out of mine, I can’t see rake if it’s there. Doesn’t give as bad of a dirty diaper under load either.

The 1.75 proryde level and the 2.5
Rear traxda flat rear blocks along with the 275/60/20 this truck rides great. Night and day difference.

Have you remembered to adjust your headlights after the level? It may be off a bit now.
